AVNET® MOTOR CONTROL BOARD

Avnet’s Motor Control FMC Module features the Low Pin Count (LPC) form factor, enabling attachment to any Avnet or Xilinx FMC-enabled platform. Each Avnet Motor Control FMC can drive one Stepper, two Brushed DC (BDC), two Brushless DC (BLDC) or two Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors (PMSM). The FMC module may be ordered with or without demonstration motors.

The Analog Devices FMCMOTCON1 is a complete motor drive system demonstrating efficient control of Brushed DC, BLDC, PMSM and Stepper motors. It consists of 2 boards: a controller board (AD-FMCMOTCON1-EBZ) and a drive board (AD-LVDRV1-EBZ).

The system incorporates high quality power sources; reliable power, control, and feedback signals isolation; accurate measurement of motor current & voltage signals; high speed interfaces for control signals to allow fast controller response; industrial Ethernet high speed interfaces; flexible control with FPGA/SoC interface. The AD-DYNO1-EBZ dynamically adjustable load is provided as an extension to the drive system to be used to test real-time motor control performance.
